- Metalaxyl (8%): A systemic fungicide that enters the plant tissues and moves inside to stop infections that have already started.
- Mancozeb (64%): A contact fungicide that stays on the outside of leaves to form a shield that stops new fungal spores from getting in. [1, 2]
Main Uses and Target Diseases
- Late Blight: Commonly used on potatoes and tomatoes.
- Downy Mildew: Used on grapes, chillies, and other vegetables.
- Soil Diseases: Helps control damping-off and root rot when used as a soil drench. [1]
